In the early fall of 2003, three members of a LEMC decided that the
local chapter they belonged to was not for them. With that, they decided to walk away and explore
other options. They looked into several other clubs, but found things in all of them that they would
change. They had a vision as to what they wanted and continued to look around.
The three brothers turned into five, which then turned into ten.
In May of 2004, at one of the major bike rallies it was established that the friendship between the ten brothers could not be broken. They were family, and treated and respected each other as such. With their philosophies in mind, they decided the only way to keep the integrity of the brotherhood strong was to start their own club. They would take what they learned and their experiences from the other LEMC’s, both good and bad, and make the best Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club in the WORLD. With that, on June 12, 2004 the BAND OF BROTHERS MC was born. We decided that what was important to us was a brotherhood; a loyalty to each other and the club. We believe in quality over quantity. We are Law Enforcement officers who work hard, and in return, when not working we party hard and ride hard. We believe in and live the biker lifestyle. We are not weekend warriors. Our colors are earned, not bought. We are not motorcycle “riders” or cops who ride motorcycles; we are “bikers” who are cops that respect the law and the justice system. We are proud of our professions and our lifestyle. We are Law Enforcement officers, with a select few associate members. In support of American made motorcycles, we require our members to own and operate a V-twin motorcycle manufactured by a North American owned company, or a North American made custom. We are a non-profit organization that respects all Motorcycle Clubs and the colors they wear; we expect the same in return. The purpose of this motorcycle club is to strengthen the bond between Law Enforcement Officers and to assist Law Enforcement Officers and their families in a time of need. We also support a variety of other Law Enforcement charities, and organizations. |
